Westfield Newcomers Club

Since 1944, the Westfield Newcomers Club has greeted residents and helped them get settled in the local community. The nonprofit volunteer organization also welcomes those who have experienced a recent lifestyle change, such as marriage, divorce, the birth of a child or any major life event, meaning you don't have to be new to join the Newcomers! Events include kid-friendly outings, pool parties, barbecues, spa nights, potluck dinners, a book club and lots more!

Gardening Groups

Considering New Jersey is the Garden State, it's no surprise Westfield residents have a fondness for foliage. Green-thumbed newcomers will want to check out the Rake and Hoe Garden Club, a 60-year-old organization dedicated to sharing a love of horticulture, floral design, nature and wildlife through seminars, meetings and tours. Junior Woman's Club of Westfield

Women 18 to 40 years of age will enjoy connecting with the Junior Woman's Club of Westfield, an organization that's been improving the local community since 1927 through volunteerism, fundraising and service. Events include ladies nights out, bowling nights, spring barbecues, yoga classes, wine tastings and cooking demonstrations. The JWCW also holds an annual spelling bee and provides local scholarships.

The Education Fund of Westfield is a volunteer organization that raises money to enhance educational opportunities and bridge budgetary gaps throughout Westfield public schools. In the last five years alone, the group has provided more than $150,000 in grants.
